| Name: Flauros, Okias, Murax, Elidor, Solas Type of Weapon: Five Broadswords Primary/Secondary: Primary Description: They are all the same, aside from the writing on their hilt; appearance-wise. They are simple-looking broadswords, though heavy-looking. The blades are simple, aside frrom the names written on them, both in English as well as Latin. The grips of each have a comfortable leather binding, so they're easier to hold onto while performing acrobatics. Elemental Alignment: Wind Ability/Function: The swords, while heavy as a regular sword, can drift in the air; much like nonwrinkled paper. They still take the same basic actions as a regular sword, should you throw it at someone, it wouldn't swoosh around like paper, it would maintain a straight path. This ability is mostly utilized to sling swords into the air, do whatever it is she's doing, then come back and fetch the sword. Close/long range: Close, primarily, though she'll often throw them, and due to their ability, she's gotten very impressive distance with some of them. History: The swords were created by Myra Honeydew, the legendary weaponsmith. She had learned that manuverability often outdid strength, but her fellow clan members were not ready to give up their heavy swords, as it was what they'd been trained with. She settled for a compromise; swords that gave you all the flexibility you'd ever want, as well as the raw strength of a heavy blade. That was about two hundred years ago. Roughly one hundred and fifty years ago, assassins tried to kill the entire Honeydew clan. They managed to kill five clan members, all below the age of twelve; the assassins stole the swords they wore from their dead bodies. It is beleived that without her sword, a Honeydew may not ever rest in peace, and instead be damned to a hell worse than imaginable. When shunned from the Honeywell clan, Emily tracked down the descendants of these assassins; sure enough, the swords had become family heirlooms. They had even engraved their family names into the swords: Flauros, Okias, Murax, Elidor, Solas. Emily brought the blades to the graves, and the dead Honeydews appeared to her in a dream, telling her their souls were now at peace, and that she could keep the swords. She now prays to the girl's souls as guardian angels, and taking the upmost care of the swords they left her. Pictures: | |
