Appearance: Luxord stands to be about six feet tall. He has short blonde hair that shows signs of grey from aging and deep blue eyes. He has an ear ring in each ear. He wears a black robe that all Organization Members wear that has a hood and drawstrings for hiding which member he is. He wears black boots and, unlike the other organization members, wears white gloves. Under his Organizational Cloak he wears a tuxedo to match his white gloves.

Personality: Luxord is a man of games and luck; his challenge to Sora and Jack to find the medallions has a game quality to it, and the Heartless he summons cannot be attacked unless all the coins are in the chest, giving a side-objective to the battle. He also uses games of chance in his own battle with Sora. However, his enjoyment for games can backfire on him, both in and out of battle. His enjoyment of The Game is further portrayed in his additional scenes in the Final Mix version of the game, which show him in an almost uncaring light - he seems to not be bothered as long as he can continue to gamble and see interesting things. Luxord is also portrayed as a master of rhetoric, with an advanced vocabulary (for example, describing the Grim Reaper Heartless as "a veritable maelstrom of avarice", meaning endlessly greedy, using it to taunt his opponents). He also possesses a notably British accent, giving him an air of sophistication. Another interesting note is that, unlike most other members of the Organization, who banter with Sora in some fashion before fighting, when Luxord appears to him he calmly smiles and says "I'd rather we just skip the formalities", and begins the battle right away.

Weapons: Luxord's weapons are very flexible, both literally and figuratively. The gambler uses Playing Cards, called Fair Game, of varying sizes, some reaching likely more than ten feet in the air when stood on end. The back of each card has five Nobody symbols on it, while the opposite side resembles a clock (referencing Luxord's element of time) that has Nobody symbols as the minute and hour hands, and the Roman numerals for 1-12 for the clock numbers (the numeral for 13 is in the center, just under the clock hands). Luxord uses these cards the way that most members of the Organization use their element. He can turn himself into a giant card and hide among similar cards, turn his enemies into cards, throw flurries of razor-sharp cards at an enemy, and create defensive barriers. The Reaction Command "Flip" causes the cards to vanish, but some of them have a booby trap (represented by a symbol on the one side of the card) that "Flip" triggers. He can also use them as sleight of hand cover, or to disorient his enemies.

Fighting Style: Luxord, his element being time, uses it in unorthodox methods when compared to other Organization members. One might not even see his element as time at first glance. He uses his cards to attack long range and short ranged opponents alike making him a most threatening foe. Not only does Luxord use his cards to fight, but he also very good at Hand To Hand Combat and Close Quarters Combat.

Alignment: Neutral; Chaotic

Affinities: Luxord is a master of rhetoric; having a large vocabulary and using hsi words wisely. He is also a talented strategist and blends combos well using acrobatics and hand to hand techniques. He makes up for lack in great physical strength for his speed and agile movements.

Weaknesses: Luxord is not very strong physically—although this should not be underestimated. He also has a weak spot for beautiful women as is apparant with his Partner In Crime Alexandria—The Beautiful Assassin. He also doesn't work well with others that use Light Magic.

History: There isn't much known about Luxord's past, aside from that he's evidently English and the Tenth member of Organization XIII (he also seems to get along with Xigbar and Demyx, from the cutscenes in Final Mix).

The first place you encounter him is on the Tenth's mission to Port Royal, where he's manipulating the people of the town and using their corruption to form a rather large Heartless. He had even gone as far as to steal cursed Aztec gold, making his creation all the harder to beat, then hijacked the Black Pearl (though he seemed to have returned the ship quietly and without ill-will to Elizabeth, one of two people left on the ship after he knocked Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Captain Jack Sparrow onto the Interceptor and blew it to pieces). After being forced into one of the Nobody's games, Sora defeated Luxord's 'Grim Reaper', thus unleashing the heart from the creature. Ten gave his compliments to Sora's fighting skills and made his leave, taking the heart back with him.

The second encounter was back in The World That Never Was, shortly after Axel had lead Sora and his friends to the Organization's castle with his dying strength. Sora fought Luxord almost immediately after defeating Xigbar, Luxord giving barely any warning or even so much as an introduction before kidnapping the boy's friends and forcing him into battle. Despite Ten's best efforts to beat him, Sora won his little "game," and Luxord faded into the darkness asking how "Roxas" could ever do such a thing to him.

Luxord's spirit did not perish but was lost in darkness for quite some time before he found his self again. The embodiment of his soul was once whole again as his body slowly pieced together his memories and he was himself again in The Realm Of Darkness. He trekked across the vastness of the Dark Realm as he once again grew strong and then finally made his way back to Castle Oblivion which has been deserted—so he claimed it for himself as the other Organization members who had fallen slowly began to resurface also across the worlds—yet they were no longer united under Xemnas but were left to fend for themselves now.

Luxord used the underground labs in Castle Oblivion to conduct research and try to finish the work that Ansem had started long ago—which was how Luxord had been created as a Nobody. He used this research to create two more Humanoid Nobodies in his lifetime—the most prominent was known as Alexandria; The Perfect Beautiful Assassin that utilized Wind Magic. And Alex's younger sister—A Nobody created from the same human—known as Trinity The Wise Beauty. She uses telepathy and illusion elements and is able to read other people's minds.
